When you apply for or rent a home from Steiner Property Management Inc, we collect the information needed to screen applicants and manage a tenancy: name, contact details including mobile phone number and email, identification, income and rental history, and payment records. Our website itself does not use tracking cookies and does not collect personal information unless you contact us.
To evaluate applications, prepare and manage leases, collect rent, coordinate maintenance, and send notices about your tenancy, including text messages if you have given us a mobile number for that purpose.
Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging opt-in information are used only to send account notifications described on our text message notifications page. We do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Our messaging provider processes messages on our behalf only.
We share information only with service providers who help us operate (such as our rent payment portal, screening service and messaging provider), with your consent, or when required by law.
Tenant records are kept for the period required by Wisconsin law and our accounting obligations, then deleted. We restrict access to tenant records to people who need them.
